RLSS 2026 takes place in the Città Studi area of Milan. The two main locations are close to each other and can both be reached comfortably by public transport.

The two locations are a short walk from each other, so the same travel advice works for both.
By metro
The easiest option is usually the M2 green line.
Get off at Piola and walk to the venue. From Piola, follow the signs toward Politecnico di Milano and Città Studi. The walk takes about 10-15 minutes depending on the room.
You can also use Lambrate FS on the M2 line. It is useful if you arrive by regional train or if your route is better connected through Lambrate. From there, walk or take a short bus/tram connection toward Via Celoria or Via Ponzio.
If you arrive from Linate airport or from the east side of the city, M4 Argonne is another convenient stop. From Argonne, both venues are about a 10-15 minute walk.
By train
If you arrive at one of Milan's main train stations:
- From Milano Centrale, take metro M2 toward Cologno Nord, Gessate or Cascina Gobba and get off at Piola.
- From Milano Porta Garibaldi, take metro M2 toward Cologno Nord, Gessate or Cascina Gobba and get off at Piola.
- From Milano Cadorna, take metro M2 toward Cologno Nord, Gessate or Cascina Gobba and get off at Piola.
- From Milano Lambrate, you are already close to Città Studi. Walk to the venue or take a local bus/tram connection.
From the airports

From Milano Linate Airport (LIN), take metro M4 from Linate and get off at Argonne. From there, walk to Via Celoria or Via Ponzio. This is usually the simplest route from Linate.

From Milano Malpensa Airport (MXP), take the Malpensa Express train to Milano Centrale or Milano Cadorna. From either station, take metro M2 to Piola and walk to the venue.

From Bergamo Orio al Serio Airport (BGY), take one of the airport shuttle buses to Milano Centrale. From Centrale, take metro M2 to Piola and walk to the venue.
Local public transport
The Città Studi area is also served by several tram and bus lines, including routes around Piola, Lambrate, Via Celoria and Via Ponzio. Useful nearby lines often include trams 19 and 33 and buses/trolleybuses such as 61, 90, 91 and 93.

Tickets
Metro, tram and bus services in Milan are operated by ATM. You can usually buy tickets through the ATM app, at metro stations or by using contactless payment at the metro gates. Check the ATM website for current fares and ticket rules before travelling.
